Hi! We’re looking for a Sales Executive!
We’re Localistico, a London-based startup with a team of 9 people. We have been running for a couple years. Together the members of our team have worked in companies like Microsoft, Google, Yahoo, Vodafone, Tuenti and Bebanjo, among others. We have offices in both central London and Madrid, although our engineering team works remotely most of the time (with quarterly in-person meetups).
We’re looking for a Sales Executive to be based in the London office and help us grow our presence in the UK (and other english-speaking countries) - somebody with a strong drive to leave their mark and help build something from the ground up.
If you are looking to work in an innovative solution, chasing for £1M+ revenue targets over the next year and helping some of the best brands across industries like retail, fashion, real estate or banking - please keep on reading, we have an offer that may be interesting to you!
We are a local marketing platform. Our tool helps brick & mortar business owners and marketing teams to manage their digital presence and track their location analytics in order to do better digital marketing, get more clients to their locations and gather better insights about how to improve their spend.
We’re revenue-generating and our current clients include brands like El Corte Inglés, Foxtons, O2 or Starbucks
Your task is to contribute to make Localistico the best local marketing platform ever, obviously!
Your focus will be working in the client acquisition funnel for the UK - reaching out to our target customers, which are Marketing Directors and Agencies for brands that operate brick&mortar locations. This includes players in industries like retail, fashion, restaurants, hotels, real estate agents and banks.
As their Sales contact you’ll need to: understand their issues, assess our fit for them, help them through the buying process, ensure deals get closed, manage the handover to the Customer Sucess team, meet the established KPIs and quotas and be available for any followups needed, among other things.
We would like you to have:
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. More than just being articulate, you can flex your style and tailor your approach depending on who you’re talking to.
Very good learning and teaching abilities. We work in a fast-changing environment and our current style of sales is quite consultative. It will help if you’re good at grasping local marketing concepts and are able to relate those to our clients’ situations and goals.
Excellent organization, project management and time management skills. You are able to organise yourself and collaborate with others in the best manner to get things done efficiently.
A focus on client goals and objectives (including good troubleshooting skills). Your ability to actively listen and understand how our clients can best benefit from using our tool and how to solve their business problems will be really useful. The ability to react to and unblock unforeseen issues that arise is also a plus.
Having worked in software, SaaS startups or marketing tools sales in the past would be good for extra brownie points, but is not mandatory.
What we offer:
Flexibility in location and hours: Unlike for engineering, this role is not fully remote, although can allow some arrangements. Work hours are quite flexible, though: We plan mostly by goals, not times. Want to workout mid-day? You can. Prefer to do due diligences over the weekend and leave early on Friday? No problem. Do your work in the way that makes you happier and more productive.
Creative work: don’t just execute to guidelines but be a defining part of a great team tackling an interesting problem and help us drive the solution and the company culture.
Competitive salary (£3XK), good sales commissions program and equity participation (stock options scheme currently around 0.5-1%). Exact numbers may vary according to location and experience. Ask us for details if you’d like to discuss, we’re very open about this. We want everybody that is part of the project to share the uptake as we share the work.
More info about us:
We’re part of Telefonica Wayra UK accelerator and SeedRocket. We have also raised additional funding from several (amazing) angels. Our client focus for the next months is mostly businesses in the verticals of retail, hospitality/restoration and health/beauty across UK and Spain.
We’re looking for the type of person that is always learning and feeling ready to take new challenges (despite it being scary sometimes!). We’d love to hear if you have some hobby or activity you’re passionate about, apart from your work (everybody in the team has at least one!). We would particularly like if you feel comfortable collaborating with others and helping arrive to common solutions to problems.
If you are proactive, resourceful, very hands on and ready to learn as part of a team taking our company to the next level… we’d love you to join us!
Please send us a a short note/email intro to firstname.lastname@example.org - if you want, you can include links to your LinkedIn or some other up-to-date summary of your CV - so we have a better idea of your background
Looking forward to talk with you soon! :)
